Incident Summary - Night shift Tuesday August 22nd

22nd August 2017

Juniper Drive, Selby - Time of call 17:54

Fire crews from Selby and Snaith responded to a fire in a domestic garage. Cause of fire is believed to be deliberate. Fire was extinguished prior to arrival of Fire Service by resident using a hose pipe.

 

Lowther Terrace York.  - Time of call 17:55

Fire crews from York attended reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding a t a residential property. This was a false alarm, triggered by cooking fumes.

 

Claro Road, Harrogate  - Time of call 18:10

Harrogate Fire crews responded to an Automatic fire alarm caused by a fault.

 

Stockwell Road, Knaresborough - Time of call 18:29

Fire crew from Knaresborough attended a smoke alarm activation at a Council property. This was a false alarm

Hungate York - Time of call 19:18

York fire crews attended a residential property due to a smoke alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, caused by bugs in the detector head.

Ings Lane, Kirkbymoorside - Time of call 19:44

Fire crews from Kirkbymoorside responded to reports of a smoke alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm.

 

Hipswell Road, Catterick Garrison - Time of call 20:08

Fire crew fromColburn attended a smoke alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm.

Stanghow Moor, Stanghow - Time of call 20:13

Danby and Guisborough fire crew attended a car fire involving a Subaru. Cause of fire is believed to be deliberate. Crews extinguished fire using one hose reel jet.

 

Shawl Mews, Leyburn - Time of call 20:16

Leyburn Fire crew attended a fire involving an electricity cable that had fallen from the pole. Crews stood by until arrival of Electricity board.

 

Lennerton Lane, Sherburn in Elmet - Time of call 21:55

Fire crew from Tadcaster attended an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm.

 

Acomb Road, York – Time of call 23: 39

Fire crew from York responded to an automatic fire alarm at a residential property. This was a false alarm.

 

Church Lane, Skipton Time of call 02:58

Fire crew from Grassington and Skipton attended a fire in a domestic property. Fire started in the lounge area and the cause is still be in investigated. 1 male occupant was rescued from house prior to arrival of Fire Service and he was taken to Hospital for a precautionary check up.  Crews used one hose reel.
