Incident summary - Night shift Wednesday 22nd August

23rd August 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 TOC    18:15   York

A crew from Acomb released a female from a lift using lift keys

TOC    20:21   A1 nr Barton

Crews from Richmond, Colburn and Darlington attended a report of a car fire on the motorway, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to steam from an overheating cooling system.

TOC  06:22 A59 Near Saltergate, Harrogate

Crews from Harrogate responded to reports of a car on fire. This was a false alarm, no fire however vehicle leaking fuel after running over a metal object. Crews used one hose reel to swill oil from road.

In addition to the above, crews have attended reports of automatic fire alarms sounding in York, Acomb, Pickering, Scarborough and Selby  all of which were false alarms.
