Fire crews from Richmond, Leyburn, Bedale and Hawes and the aerial ladder platform from Durham Fire Service attended reports of a strong smell of smoke inside a 3 storey domestic property. Crews extinguished a chimney fire using one hose reel and checked for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera

Woodland next to Neasham Lane, Stokesley

Fire crew from Stokesley attended a a small camp fire that had been left unattended. Fire was extinguished using two backpack sprayers and a bucket and spade.

Flaxby Moor Fram Track, Flaxby

Fire crew from Knareseborough responded to reports of an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.
