Incident Summary Night Shift Tuesday 1st  May 2018

 In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Burythorpe, Malton

Time of call: 17:47

 A crew from Malton have attended a fence on fire at the rear of a commerical property. The fire was out on arrival and crews dampened down only before removing the fence. 

Barkston Ash, Tadcaster

Time of call: 19:28                       

A crew from Tadcaster have attended an automatic fire alarm which was caused due to an accidental activation of a break glass point.   

Oak Beck Road, Harrogate

Time of call: 20:25                       

A crew from Harrogate have attended reports of a fire in the open. On arrival crews found this to be fully supervised and controlled burning.

Wood Street, York

Time of call: 20:32                           

A crew from York have secured a heavy sheet of tarpaulin that was hanging from scaffolding which was unsafe. Crews used manpower and small tools to secure.


Time of call: 01:22                           

A crew from Settle have attended flooding inside a residential property. Crews isolated electrics to the effected flat and investigated the source of the leak to isolated and prevent further flooding.
