East Road, Northallerton

Time of call: 18:25

A crew from Northallerton have assisted the RSPCA in rescuing a starling which had become stuck two storeys high on a commercial property. Crews used a nine metre ladder to rescue the bird.

Bismarck Street, York

Time of call: 20:11                        

Crews from Acomb have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm caused due to cigarette fumes.

Time of call: 23:28                            

A crew from Acomb have attended reports of a small fire to the rear of a residential property. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

North Hill Road, Disforth

Time of call: 23:35                         

A crew from Boroughbridge have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm caused due to heat from a shrink wrap machine.

Museum Street, York

Time of call: 01:11                          

A crew from York have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was a false alarm caused due to a fault on the detector.
