Incident Summary Friday 13th April Night Shift

Please see below a round up of incidents from Friday 13th April Night Shift

Princess Drive, York  Time 18:12

A crew from Acomb extinguished a fire to two wheelie bins in a bin store using a hose reel jet. The cause is believed to be deliberate.

Fylinthorpe, Whitby  Time 19:17

A crew from Robin Hoods Bay attended report of a fire in the open. This was confirmed as controlled burning with the owners in attendance. The crews gave safety advice only.

 Burnside Cresent  Time 20:15

Crews from Skipton extinguished a chimney fire at a residential property using a hose reel jet, ladders and hand tools. The fire is believed to have started from an accumulation of soot.

A684, Leeming Bar  Time 20:29

Crews from Bedale and Northallerton attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. One vehicle was parked with no occupants. The other vehicle had two occupants. One male was out on arrival of the fire crews, one female needed assisting out of the vehicle. Both were treated by paramedics on scene and taken to hospital for breathing difficulties and precautionary checks.

Scarborough  Time 00:17

Crews from Scarborough attended a property where a vehicle had collided with a building. All persons were out of the vehicle on arrival and the building was unaffected. The crews made the vehicle safe and left the incident with the Police who were in attendance.
