Incident summary Nightshift 25 October 2018

25th October 2018

TOC: 19:54    Scarborough

Two crews from Scarborough station were mobilised to a grill pan on fire in a domestic property. The fire was out on arrival, crews used positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.

TOC: 20:08    Harrogate

Two crews from Harrogate were sent to a flat where a tumble dryer had caught fire which caused some fire damage to the contents of the drier and also smoke damage to the room of origin. Crews used small to make the appliance safe and the cause was believed to of been an electrical fault.

TOC: 01:27    Harrogate

The Fire Service was requested by the Ambulance Service to attend a property where a male had fallen inside and paramedics needed to gain access. Crews attended along with the Police and gained access to the property using a ladder. Male left in hands of Paramedics.

Throughout the night various crews have attended automatic fire alarms sounding in different premises these have all been false alarms.
