Incident Summary Night Shift Friday 27th April

 In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 Wetherby TOC: 20:11

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke sighted in the area. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning.

 Harrogate TOC: 20:16

 Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

 York TOC: 20:42

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke from a rear garden. This was a fire involving rubbish which was controlled burning out of hand. Crews extinguished using 1 hose reel.

 Riccall TOC: 21:28

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke seen in area blowing across A19. This was a large pile of rubbish, believed to be controlled burning left unattended. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reels and 1 main jet. Incident to be revisited tomorrow.

 Gilling East TOC: 22:01

Crews attended a head on 2 vehicle road traffic collision with 2 persons trapped in vehicle. Crews released casualties from vehicle using small tools and lighting. Handed into care of paramedics.

Selby TOC: 00:16

 Crews were mobilised to a report of a female in the river Ouse. Crews rescued 1 person using lighting, rescue lines and triple extension ladder. Handed into care of paramedics.
