Incident Summary for Night Shift 30th August 2018

Marishes Lane, Yedingham

TOC: 19:22

Crews from Sherburn and Pickering responded to a two car RTC with three persons in each vehicle. X1 elderly female was released from one of the cars after fire crews removed the car roof using hydraulic cutting equipment, and transported to hospital by ambulance.

New Lane, Sherburn-in-Elmet

TOC: 20:32

Crew from extinguished a small fire in field by use of a backpack sprayer.

Hazel Hill, East Ayton, Scarborough

TOC: 23:55

Crew from Scarborough extinguished a small amount of fly-tipping rubbish by use of a hosereel.


TOC: 00:56

Crew from Scarborough extinguished an unattended garden fire with a hosereel following a report of thick smoke in the area.


There has also been a few alarm activations to which firecrews have attended during the shift – all activations being false alarms or burnt cooking.
