 Fire in the open - Elvington Lane, York

Time of call: 17:27

Fire crews from York and Huntington attended reports of a house fire that turned out to be a large rubbish fire in the open. Fire crews put the fire out with one hose reel in case of spread.

 Car fire - Copgrove Lane, Copgrove

Time of call 18:10

Fire crews from Knaresborough attended a BMW fire that was caused by an electrical fault.

 Automatic Fire Alarm - Brompton by Sawdon, Scarborough

Time of call 18:21

Fire crews from Sherburn attended an automatic fire alarm; this was caused by a fault.

 Road Traffic collision – Sutton Bank, Thirsk

Time of call 20:45

Fire crews from Thirsk, Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside attended a single vehicle collision. Car was carrying two adults and three children. No people were trapped in the vehicle. Crews administered first aid and assisted Ambulance crews on scene

 Family locked inside – Leppington Lane, Leppington, Malton

Fire crews from Malton assisted a family including elderly relatives who had become locked inside living room. Crew’s unlocked door from outside with the help of tools.

Fire crews from Acomb and York attended reports of a house fire that turned out to be some controlled burning close to a house. Crews put the fire out incase of spread.

 Road traffic collision – Embsay Skipton

Fire crews from Skipton attended a single vehicle collision; no people were trapped or injured.
