Long Close Lane, York - Time of call 17:39

York crews responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a commercial property. This was a false alarm apparatus.

East Parade, Harrogate - Time of call 17:59

Harrogate crew assisted the RSPCA rescue a cat that had got stuck in an engine of a car. Crew used manual effort to release cat. Kitty was not injured.

Mill Lane, Tadcaster - Time of call 18:35

Tadcaster Fire crews attended a small amount of branches and leaves on fire underneath the viaduct. The cause was believed deliberate. Fire was out on arrival of Fire Service

Riverside Court, Cawood, Selby - Time of call 18:56

Fire crews from Selby attended a car fire on a driveway. The cause of fire was due to an electrical fault. Fire was out on arrival and crew carried out inspection only.

Forest Road, Northallerton - Time of call 19:34

Northallerton Fire crew attended a chimney fire in a domestic property. Cause of fire was accumulation of soot. Crew’s extinguished fire using a hose reel jet, hearth kit, roof ladder and hand tools.

Carleton Road, Skipton - Time of call 19:36

Fire crew from Skipton responded to a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Fire crews from York responded to an automatic fire alarm at the University. This was a false alarm

Fire crews from Stokesley responded to a smoke alarm activation in a domestic property. This was a false alarm.

Snowball Plantation, Hazelbush Lane, York - Time of call 00:16

Crews from York and Huntington attended a two vehicle road traffic collision. No people were trapped however 2 males were treated by Ambulance crews.

Myrtle Avenue, Selby - Time of call 02:45

Selby fire crew responded to reports of smoke filling a domestic property. On arrival fire crews confirmed a fire had occurred in the kitchen. It is believed to have started in a spider house caused by an electrical fault. Fire was out on arrival of fire service.

Bishopdyke Road, Sherburn in Elmet - Time of call 03:47

Tadcaster fire crews attended a Mercedes van fire. Cause is believed to be deliberate. Car was totally destroyed. Crews used one hose reel.

Prospect Place, Harrogate - Time of call 07:09

Harrogate Fire crew attended an automatic fire alarm sounding at a hotel, this was a false alarm.
