 In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 Easby – time of call: 0900

 Crews from Richmond, Colburn, Leyburn, Ripon & Northallerton were mobilised to reports of a female spotted in the river. Crews carried out a full search of the river bank and located a female in her 20s on a spit of land between 2 lakes. Crews assisted handing over the casualty to the ambulance service.

 A64, Flaxton – time of call: 10.37

 Appliances from Tadcaster, York, Huntington along with a Incident Support Unit from Malton attended a 3 vehicle road traffic collision between a coach, Honda Jazz and a Kia Sportage. Crews assisted the ambulance service with first aid and extricating 2 casualties in their 80s from the Honda jazz with neck and chest pain. These were transferred to hospital via road ambulance. The driver of the coach and the Kia Sportage were checked over by paramedics at scene. The fire service then assisted with making the scene safe.

 Monkgate, York – time of call: 13.09

 Huntington crew attended an automatic fire alarm at a medical premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

 Marton Cum Grafton – time of call: 13.55

Knaresborough crew attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by dust from workmen.

Hornbeam Park Avenue, Harrogate – time of call: 16.38

Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm at a educational premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by malicious activation of a break glass point.

Bondagate, Ripon – time of call: 17.04

 Ripon attended an automatic fire alarm at a residential premises, this turned out to be a false alarm caused by cooking fumes
