Incident Summary Wednesday 13th January Night Shift

14th January 2016

19:08 - Call received to Swan Road, Harrogate. Reports of Fire alarm sounding. On arrival crews located a small fire to the carpet, crews used buckets of water to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believe to have been burnt crumpets which had fallen on the carpet. The fire caused 1 sqm of fire damage.

19:59 - Eastborough Scarborough. Call received of reports of a smell of smoke at a commercial premises. On arrival crews found this was a false alarm due to the smell of smoke from a nearby open fire.

Crews also attended several Fire alarms sounding through the evening, these were all false alarms
