Round up of Incident for Day Shift Satuday21st May

Lime Lane, Kirklington

Fire crews from Ripon attended reports of a road traffic collision on Lime Lane. When crews arrived they were able to confirm that there were no persons trapped at the incident. Crews worked alongside police and paramedics at scene to assist with transporting of a male to the air ambulance. Crews also assisted with traffic control. Incident left with police and paramedics.

Lothersdale, Nr Skipton

A fire crew from Skipton attended reports of a vehicle leaking fuel. When crews arrived they discovered a car with a petrol leak, due to over filling of the vehicle. Fire crews used environmental absorbent packs to deal with the spillage and make the environment safe.

Advice given to owner of vehicle

Pot Bank, Beckwithshaw

Fire crews from Harrogate attended reports of a road traffic collision and the car to be on fire.When crews arrived they were able to establish the incident to be an overheated car which was neither on fire or been involved in a collision. Fire crews ensured the scene was safe and gave advice. No further action required
