Incident Summary - Day Shift 10th April

9th April 2016

Summary of Incidents –   10th April, Day Shift

Toc:  0748 hours, automatic fire alarm,  Cropton, Pickering. 

Pickering Crew attended. Cause of alarm faulty detector.

Toc: 0937 hours. Chimney Fire, Kilgram Lane, Jervaulx. 

Masham, Leyburn, Bedale and Richmond Crews attended.

Toc:  1004 hours.  Three vehicle  Road Traffic Collision, A170 turnoff for Wass. 

Kirkbymoorside and Easingwold attended.  Three vehicle Road Traffic Collision involving a Mercedes estate a Saab and a Citroen C3.   All persons out of vehicles prior to Fire Service attendance.  Occupants of Mercedes, 2 adults and 2 children.  One child taken to Hospital by road ambulance the other via air ambulance suffering from abdominal and neck injuries.  Occupants of the Saab an adult and a child treated at the scene by Ambulance personnel.  Occupants of the Citroen, 2 adults,1 female taken to Hospital suffering from shock.  Crews made scene safe, no equipment used.

Toc:  1009 hours. Car Fire in School Car Park,  Richmond. 

Colburn Crew attended.  Cause of fire fault in engine compartment. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and a hooligan tool.

Toc:  1215 hours. Assist Ambulance Crew with patient due to accessibility problems in the property. Fylingthorpe. 

Crews from Robin Hoods Bay attended, they assisted ambulance crew with removing the patient from the premises.

Toc:  1643 hours. Automatic Fire Alarm, St James Meadow, Boroughbridge. 

Cause of alarm was cooking fumes.
