Incident Summary –  Day Shift 13th July

Toc:  0845 hours – Residential Premises, The Village, Haxby.  Assist Ambulance and Police with access to an elderly patient who was trapped behind the door of an apartment on first floor property. Huntington Crew attended. Crews used short extension ladder to gain access.

Toc:  1532 hours – Washing Machine/Drier on fire, in ground floor flat,  Oakdale Glen, Harrogate.  Occupants were out on arrival of Fire Service. 100% smoke damage to the washing machine and 100% smoke damage to the kitchen.  Smoke spread to upstairs flat and crews evacuated the occupants. Smoke Alarms were fitted and did actuate. Two Crews from Harrogate attended.  Crews removed washing machine to open air and used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.  Cause of the fire believed to be an electrical fault.

Toc:  1540 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Residential Premises, Park Street, Ripon.  Ripon Crews attended.  Cause accidental activation of call point.

Toc:  1612 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Mallory Court, Skipton.  Skipton Crews attended. Cause of alarm, dust in sensor.
