Summary of Incidents –   18th March, Day Shift

Toc:  0732 hours, York Crews attended an Automatic Fire Alarm on a commerical premises on St Helens Road, York.

Cause of the Alarm a fault on system.

Toc:  1514 hours, Kitchen Fire, Abbey Street, York.

Acomb and York Crews attended a kitchen fire in a terraced property.  All persons out of property.  One occupant suffering from smoke inhalation.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and positive pressure ventilation fan to deal with the fire.  Fire spread to roof void of single storey extension of main house.  Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle is en route to offer help and advice to the occupier.

Toc:  1606 hours, Airy Hill Area, Filey. Smoke in area.

Filey Crew attended, cause of smoke, controlled burning under supervision of a responsible person.
