Incident Summary - Night Shift 18th February

19th February 2016

Summary of Incidents – 18th February Night Shift

Toc: 1754 hours, B6161 Beckwithshaw.

Road Traffic Collision involving car into ditch, 1 male assisted from vehicle by fire crews.  Suffering from neck and facial injuries.  Triple extension ladder used.  Fire Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended.

Toc: 1807 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Walkerville Industrial Estate, Catterick Garrison

 Automatic fire Alarm. Colburn crews attended.  Cause system fault.

 Toc:  1814 hours, Outside High Field Farm, B6161, Beckwithshaw.

Road traffic collision involving 2 cars, no persons trapped, no injuries, no service required by Fire Service.  Crew from Harrogate attended.

Toc: 1840 hours, Unit 5 Red House Farm, Marton le Moor, Automatic Fire Alarm.

Fire Crew from Ripon attended. Alarm reset prior to their attendance, cause unknown.

Toc:  1853, 2 Vehicle Road Traffic Collision, A168, Arkendale

A Fire Officer came across a two vehicle Road Traffic Collision, no persons trapped, Police requested.  No action by Fire Service.

Toc:  1923 hours, Chimney Fire, Oak Road, North Duffield.

Selby Crews attended a chimney fire.  Crews used hearth kit, thermal imaging camera, working at height kit equipment and a 9m ladder.

Toc: 2014 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Walkerville Industrial Estate, Catterick

Colburn crews attended.  Cause of alarm contractors working on electric fuse box.

Toc:  2335 hours, Fire in oil drum corner of Moat Way and Conifer Close, Brayton, Selby

Selby crew attended.  When the crew arrived the fire was out on arrival. The fire was controlled burning, occupier in attendance.

Toc: 2352 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, High Skellgate, Ripon.

Ripon crew attended, cause fault on system.

Toc 0041 hours, Smoke from property High Garth, Eastfield, Scarborough.

Scarborough crews attended a Living Room fire in an unoccupied property.  Fire caused 50% fire damage to the living room and 100% smoke damage to the rest of the property.  Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel, thermal imaging camera, positive pressure ventilation fan and door entry tools.
