Fire in electrical Unit of Restaurant – Montpellier Parade, Harrogate

Time of call 19:34

Fire crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended reports of smoke coming from an electrical meter board in basement. There was very minimal damage to cables only. Fire crews used special cutters to cut seal from fuse and then carried out investigation for any hot spots.


Skip fire – Ox Close Lane, Heslington

Time of call 20:01

Fire crews from York attended a skip fire, contents were destroyed by fire. Fire was put out before it almost spread to a truck and an electricity pole. Crews used one hose reel.


Automatic Fire Alarm - Royal Baths, Crescent Road, Harrogate

Time of call 20:38

Harrogate fire crews attended a fire alarm activation which was a false alarm.


Automatic Fire Alarm - Leeming Bar Services, Bedale Road, Aiskew

Time of call 23:22

Bedale fire crews attended an automatic fire alarm sounding; this was due to a fault with the alarm system.


Automatic Fire Alarm - St Benedict Road, York

Time of call 23:59

York Fire Crews attended a fire alarm sounding, this was caused by a fault in the alarm system.
