Selby Canal – Selby

Time of call 09:10

Fire Crews from Selby assisted Police with the search for a missing male, last seen running along the canal. Crews used the Water Rescue Boat.

 

 

Briscoe Ridge Lane, Beckwithshaw

Time of call 09:30

Fire crews from Harrogate and Ripon attended a road traffic collision between a car and a HGV. Fire crews cut casualty from vehicle using cutting gear.

 

 

Chesnut Avenue, Malton

Time of call 10:15

Fire crews from Malton responded to a domestic smoke alarm sounding caused by a tea-towel left on top of a hob, crews ventilated property using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

 

 

Templar Close – Whitley

Time of call 10:37

Fire crews from Selby attended reports of a lamppost on fire. When crews arrived the fire had been put out. Electricity board attended to make sure all electrical workings were disconnected.

 

 

Bad Bargain Lane – York

Time of call: 11:11

Fire crews from Huntington and Acomb attended reports of an automatic fire alarm at a premises on this street however this turned out to be a false alarm.

 

 

Clifford Street – York

Time of call: 11:40

Fire crews from Huntington attended reports of an automatic fire alarm at a premises on this street however this turned out to be a false alarm.

 

 

Wetherby Road – Harrogate

Time of call: 16:24

Fire crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended initial reports of a road traffic collision which involved a small vehicle that had collided with a chemical tanker.  Crews attended and confirmed there was no leak from the chemical tanker and firefighters dealt with one person who had been injured during the collision.
