Incident Summary 4th November Day Shift

4th November 2017

 

Time 1428     Location: Dalton

Thirsk crews responded to a call of a sheep stuck in a river in Dalton. The crew rescued the sheep and returned it to its owner.


Time 1540     Location: Flixton

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of smoke coming from an area in Flixton. This was confirmed to be controlled burning.

 

Time 1640     Location: York

A crew from Acomb attended a report of a fire seen in the trees. This was confirmed to be controlled burning.

 

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Tadcaster and Skipton. All were false alarms.
