Incident Summary Sunday 6th August Day Shift

Please see below a round up of incidents from Sunday 6th August Day Shift

Incident 6904  Time 0844 – Horsfield Way, Dunnington, York

Crews from Huntington and Acomb attended a road traffic collision involving a car on it’s roof. The occupant of the car was out on arrival of Fire crews and in the care of Ambulance staff. Our crews made the vehicle and area safe.

Incident 6906  Time 1025 – Birch Crescent, Sleights, Whitby

Whitby, Goathland and Lythe crews attended a fire in the kitchen of a domestic property. 1 cooker fire was extinguished and 1 dog was rescued from the property. The occupants were not in at the time.

Incident 6915  Time 1315 – Ryndle Crescent, Scarborough

Scarborough crew extinguished a fire in a bin in a car park using a bucket of water.

In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in York and Harrogate.  All were false alarms.
