Please see below a round up of incidents from Friday 28th July Day Shift

 

Incident 6652 Time 1153 – Albermarle Road, York

 

Crews from Acomb, Huntington and Tadcaster were mobilised to reports of a car that had collided with a house. On arrival crews found a single vehicle had hit a garden wall, the driver was out on arrival and the Fire Service was not required.

 

Incident 6653 Time 1237 – Stockwell Grove, Knaresborough

 

Harrogate, Knaresborough and Boroughbridge crews, plus an aerial ladder platform from Huntington attended a fire to a semi-detached house.  The fire caused severe damage to a first floor bedroom before spreading into the roof. The cause has yet to be determined but believed accidental.

 

Incident 9311 Time 1643 – St Stephens Road, York

 

Oven fire in the kitchen of a domestic property. The fire was out on arrival and crews from York & Huntington are currently investigating the cause.

 

In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in Harrogate, Filey and York.  All were false alarms.
