Incident Summary –  Day Shift 12th July

Toc:  1010 hours - Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Residential Premises, Great North Way, Nether Poppleton.  Acomb Crew attended.  Cause of alarm cooking fumes.

Toc:  1029 hours - Assisting Ambulance crew with patient due to injuries and access restrictions.  Knaresborough Crew attended, manpower used.

Toc:  1104 hours – Administering first aid to elderly female who had fallen until the arrival of ambulance. Malton Road, Huntington.  Huntington Crews attended.

Toc:  1108 hours – 10 year old male on three storey roof, Commercial Residential premises, Forest Moor Road, Thornthwaite. Appliances from Summerbridge, Harrogate and their aerial appliance attended.  Male removed by Police prior to Fire Service arrival, no action by Fire Service.

Toc:  1112 hours – Large Goods Vehicle leaking fuel following Road Traffic Collision, Scurragh Lane, Moulton.  Richmond Crews made vehicle safe and washed down road using 1 hose reel.

Toc:  1140 hours – Tractor on Fire, Chain Bar Lane, Killinghall.  Harrogate Crews attended. This incident was controlled burning which had spread to tractor. Harrogate Crews attended.

Toc:  1157 hours – Fire in residential premises, Forest Road, Northallerton. Cause of fire cool bag left on hot hob. Northallerton Crews attended. The fire was out on arrival. Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan used to disperse smoke.  Advice given to occupant.

Toc:  1356 hours –  male fallen in Market Place, Ripon.  Ripon Crews administered first aid until the arrival of the ambulance.

Toc:  1430 hours – Male trapped in a lift, Railway Street, Malton.  Malton Crews attended.  Crews used lift keys to release him.

Toc:  1621 hours – Two vehicle Road Traffic Collision, two persons trapped.  A65, near The Courtyard, Cammock Lane, Settle. Skipton Crews attended. Crews extricating casualties.

Toc:  1631 hours – Vehicle smoking following Road Traffic Collision.  Outside Doctors Surgery, Belgrave Terrace, Scarborough.  Scarborough Crews attended. All persons out on arrival of Fire Service. Vehicle smoking due to overheated belt.  Fire Service disconnected the battery.
