Incident Summary – Day Shift 2nd June

Toc:  0845 hours - Single Vehicle Road Traffic Collision in Slingsby Bank area involving a Renault Clio. 1 female aged approximately 45 trapped.  Malton Crews extricated the female using hydraulic cutting equipment, she was taken to Hospital by road ambulance suffering from suspected back injuries.

Toc:  1058 hours – Car Stuck in Field, near Desmesne Farm, Fylingdales. Robin Hoods Bay Crew attended.

Toc: 1250 hours  - Boroughbridge Crew assisted ambulance with a male patient who had fallen. Cundall.

Toc: 1432 hours – Fire in Garage, Kirk Lane, Eastby, Skipton.  Skipton Crews attended.  Fire in a commercial garage caused by a spark from equipment igniting approximately 10 litres of petrol.  Occupant extinguished the fire prior to the Fire Service arrival using a dry powder and a foam extinguisher.  The fire spread to the roof causing approximately 5% fire damage. There was also 2 cylinders suffering from radiated heat, crews used 1 hose reel jet to cool, crews then removed the cylinders to open air when cooled.
