Crews from Ripon and Thirsk responded to reports of a residential fire. They found that this was a false alarm and could not find any sign of smoke or fire.

Knaresborough crew responded to a report of a pylon on fire. They found a wooden electrical pylon smouldering and waited for the arrival of an engineer.

Harrogate crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

 

Thirkill Drive, Pannal

Harrogate crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm caused by workmen opening the fire door linked to alarm system.

 

Campbell Court, York

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Huntington, Acomb and York attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a commercial property. They found that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to cosmetic smoke.

Whitby and Lythe crew responded to reports of a suspected house fire. They found that this was a false alarm and was actually controlled burning in the rear garden.

York and Acomb crews responded to reports of an RTC involving 2 vehicles with possible persons trapped. They found that there were no persons trapped. Crews assisted Police with the removal of the vehicles.

 

Eleanor Drive, Harrogate

1703

Harrogate crew assisted a female who was locked inside a property on the first floor with her young baby. They released her using a 9m ladder and small tools to remove the lock.
