Orchard Grove Brompton

Northallerton crews were sent to reports of a fire alarm sounding, on arrival crews found this to be a false alarm caused by steam from a shower.


Time of Call 15:14

Street Lane, Pickering

Malton and Helmsley crews attended a combine on fire in a field of standing corn. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus  and 2 Hose Reel Jets.

York Road, Manse, Knaresborough

Knaresborough crews were called to reports of a fire in woodland. On arrival crews located an armchair on fire. They extinguished the fire using buckets of water

Thornton Street, Skipton

Skipton crews were requested to attend reports of damage to a pylon, the pylon had been struck by a football and people on the scene believed this had caused an explosion. However on arrival there were no signs of an explosion or damage to the pole which was a telegraph pole. A firework had been set off at the same time as the football hit the pole and people on scene confused the noise of the firework with an explosion.
