False Alarm – Byland Road, Helmsley Time of call: 1125

A crew from Thirsk attended an automatic fire alarm at a commercial property. They found that this was a false alarm due to engineers testing system.

False alarm – Bluebeck Drive, York Time of call: 1142

A crew from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm activation and found that it was a false alarm due to paint fumes.

RTC – Nares Street, Scarborough Time of call: 1200

Crews from Scarborough attended a single vehicle RTC with 2 occupants still inside the vehicle. Crews assisted ambulance crews, and used manpower to move vehicle, open doors and carry out scene safety. Casualties left in hands of paramedics.

Fire in open – Sedbury Lane, Gilling West Time of call: 1552

Crews from Colburn and Richmond responded to reports of a fire in a field. They found that the fire measured approx. 30 metres by 10 metres and extinguished using a hose reel jet and beaters. A fire crew will revisit this incident tomorrow.

False alarm – Seamer Moor Lane, Scarborough Time of call: 1639

A Scarborough crew attended a report of a potential car fire. They found that this was a false alarm due to overheated breaks.

False alarm – Trafalgar Court, Harrogate Time of call: 1650

A crew from Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm activation. After a full investigation they found that this was a false alarm.
