TOC  07:30    Littlebeck nr Whitby -  flooding into premises

Crews from Whitby and Goathland unblocked a drain and carried out salvage work at a flooded farmhouse. An elderly female resident was left with neighbours.

TOC    08:53  Tewit Well Road, Harrogate – smell of burning in cellar

Both Harrogate crews attended, found acrid fumes believed to be from flooding affecting electrics. Firecrews isolated electrics and gave advice.

TOC    10:14   Scarborough College Filey Road, Scarborough – Automatic fire alarm sounding

A crew from Scarborough attended report of an alarm sounding which had activated due to a faulty detector head.

TOC    12:48   Aurora House, Dodsworth Coaches, Hopper Hill Road, Scarborough - Automatic fire alarm sounding

A crew from Scarborough responded to an alarm activation which was caused due to cigarette smoke.

TOC    15:35   Newborough, Scarborough - Automatic fire alarm sounding

A crew from Scarborough responded to an alarm activation which was caused due to steam from a steam press.
