Incident Summary Day Shift 22nd December

22nd December 2016

EASTWAY, SCARBOROUGH 0905

Scarborough crews responded to reports of a RTC involving one vehicle. Crews found that there were no persons trapped and carried out scene safety by making the vehicle safe.

 BEECH ROAD, HARROGATE 1123

Harrogate crew attended reports of a car fire. They found that there had been a small fire which had been extinguished prior to their arrival by the owner using a garden hose. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to ensure that the fire was out and that the vehicle was safe.

 HARLOW OVAL, HARROGATE 1138

Harrogate crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm. The cause is unknown due to the fire panel being reset prior to their arrival.

WESTBOROUGH, SCARBOROUGH 1237

Scarborough crews attended reports of a bin fire. They extinguished using 1 hose reel.

REGENT STREET, YORK 1256

York crew responded to a report of a cooker fire. they found that there had been a grill pan fire which was out on arrival.

HIRST ROAD, SELBY 1420

Selby crew responded to calls to a road traffic collision. They found that there were no persons trapped. There were 2 males aged approx 20 years who were out of the vehicle with no injuries. Police and ambulance were also in attendance. No fire brigade action was needed.
