Round up of incidents for – Day Shift Friday 26th Feb

09.38  A1 north bound carriageway Nr Selby Fork Motel

Fire crews from West Yorkshire, Selby and Tadcaster attended a vehicle reported to be on fire. Upon fire crews arrival they were able to establish the vehicle to have steam and fumes  coming from the engine compartment due to a blown turbo and not a fire. Crews inspected the vehicle and ensured it was safe. Incident left with police and recovery service.

10.22  Wilkinsons Court, Easingwold

Fire crew from Easingwold attended a domestic premises with water flooding in the kitchen. The crew were able to assist with isolating the water and stopping the flow of water. Occupant given advice.

11.02  Bossall Nr Huntington

Fire crews from Huntington attended a domestic chimney fire.  Crews ensured the fire was extinguished and gave advice to the occupant.

16:02 East Heslerton Lane, East Heslerton, Malton

Fire crews from Malton, Scarborough, Kirkbymoorisde and Huntington attended a fire to a property. The ALP has been in use at the incident tackling the fire from the roof. Crews are still on scene and further details will be received in due course.
