Incident Summary - Day Shift 27th October

Fire in Residential Property – Field Drive, Pickering

Time of call: 10:50

Fire crews from Pickering attended but the fire was out on arrival and was confirmed to be burnt toast.  Crews checked over the area with a thermal imaging camera.

Fire in Residential Property – Woolwich Cottage, Brearton, Knaresborough

Time of call: 11:58

Fire crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough attended this incident and rescued 1 male who was inside the property and unable to exit through immobility.  The fire was confined to an appliance in the conservatory and was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. 

North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service have also attended several false alarms and fire alarm activations throughout the day.
