08.28   Wensleydale Railway, Leeming Bar

Fire crews from Bedale assisted a male who had become trapped in a public toilet. Crews were able to release the male speedily by using tools carried on the fire appliance.

11.11  Lea way, Huntington

Fire crews from Huntington Fire Station rescued a cat that was stuck on a high pitched roof. It is believed the animal had been on the roof for approx 48 hours. They assisted at the request of the RSPCA. The crews used a roof ladder to rescue the cat, who was brought to ground level, unharmed by his ordeal. 

14:10  Main Street, Hebdon

Fire crews from Grassington and Skipton attended a commercial premises where a main electrical fuse had overheated. Crews removed the fuse and isolated the electrics. They advised that an electrician should attend the premises.
