Summary of Incidents –   2nd April, Day Shift

Toc: 0756 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Hotel, Shipton Road, Acomb

Acomb Crew attended.  Cause of Alarm, deodorant setting off alarm.

Toc:  0930 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Residential Premises, Parade Court, York

York Crew attended. Cause of alarm sounding fault on system.

Toc:  1137 hours, Smell of Burning, Retail Premises, Clifton Moor Retail Park, York

Huntington and Acomb attended.  Smoke caused by faulty electrical light fitting.  Crews used triple extension ladder to isolate electricity supply.

Toc:  1154 hours, Ring Removal, Scarborough Fire Station, Scarborough

Scarborough Crew removed a ring from a female who came into the Fire Station.  Crews used ring cutter to remove the ring.

Toc:  1421 hours, Assist Ambulance Crew with a patient, Valley Bridge Parade, Scarborough

Scarborough Crew attended. Crews assisted ambulance crew to remove a patient from a basement flat.

Toc:  1504 hours, Road Traffic Collision as a result of a fuel spillage, A64 Hopgrove Roundabout, York.

York Crew attended a fuel spillage, Highways requested to soak up spillage, Fire Crews assisted Police with traffic management.

Toc:  1528 hours, Bin Fire outside King Richard III Public House, Sandside, Scarborough

 Scarborough Crew attended.  Crews used bucket of water to extinguish the bin fire.

 Toc:  1656 hours, Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Residential Premises, St Marys, York

 York Crews attended.  Cause of alarm sounding  fault on system.
