Incident Summary 7th November Day Shift

7th November 2017

Time 1023    Location: Gowthorpe Selby

A crew from York and a crew from Selby attended a report of a fire to a commerical property in Selby.  2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan were used to extinguish the fire to a wall heater and ventilate the property. The fire caused damage to the heater and a toilet and slight smoke damage to the room.

Time 1429    Location: Peppercorn Close Acomb

Crews from York, Acomb, and Huntington attended a report of a flat on fire in the Acomb area. Crews rescued 1 casualty from the flat. They used 2 breathing apparatus, and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire to a pan. One positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to ventilate the property. The fire caused damage to the pan only.
