Incident Summary – Day Shift 8th May

0839 Hours – Selby Crew attended an Automatic Fire Alarm at a Commercial Premises on Barlby Road, Selby.

0945 Hours – Road Traffic Collision involving a Car and a Motorcycle, Woodfield Road, Harrogate. Crews assisted Paramedics with motorcyclist casualty before he was taken to Hospital by Air Ambulance. He was seriously injured.

1015 Hours – Selby Crews assisted with a ring removal from an elderly female who came into the Station.  Crews used ring cutters to remove the ring.

1537 Hours – Acomb and York Crews dealt with a waste paper pin on fire.  The fire was out on Fire Service arrival, cause of fire careless disposal of smoker’s materials.

1639 Hours – Fire involving 200 square metres of dry undergrowth on fire, Brayton Barff.  Selby Crew using beaters made up for two pumps for water.

1653 Hours – Hay Bales on Fire at rear of Knotto Bottom Close. Northallerton Crew dealing with it.
