 Automatic Fire Alarm – Heather Close, Swainby

Time:  07:40

A crew from Stokesley attended a report of an alarm sounding, on arrival it was a false alarm, inspection only by crews.

 Car Fire, M62 between Ferrybridge and A19

Time:  10:15

Crews from Selby and West Yorkshire responded to reports of a car fire, crews were unable to find the vehicle it is believed to have been a false.

 Road Traffic Collision, Moorlands Road, near Skelton

Time:  11:11

A crew from Acomb was sent to reports of a transit van into telegraph pole, on arrival it appeared that the driver had left the scene, crews carried out a thorough search of the area and made the vehicle safe.

 Road Safety – Ruswarp Bank, nr Whitby

Time: 11:40

A crew from Whitby assisted with traffic until a heavy goods vehicle that had broken down on the roadway could be recovered from Ruswarp Bank.

 Car Fire – A64 York

Time: 13:07

A crew from Acomb went to a report of a car fire following a road traffic collision, on arrival this was found to be a false alarm due to steam being mistaken for smoke.

 Road Traffic Collision – Flaxton nr York

Time: 14:32

Crews from Malton, York and Huntington attended a road traffic collision involving a truck and a car,  crews have used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the vehicles roof to extricate one male and one female.

 Ring Removal – Acomb Fire Station

Time: 14:41

Acomb crew removed a ring from a gentleman who had a broken finger using ring cutters.

 Automatic fire Alarm – Scott Road, Selby

Time: 14:53

A crew from Selby attended reports of an alarm sounding, on arrival they found this to be due to steam, inspection only.

 Automatic Fire Alarm – Town Close, North Road, Stokesley

Time: 16:09

A crew from Stokesley attended reports of an alarm sounding, on arrival they found this to be due to cooking fumes, inspection only.
