Please see below a round up of incidents from Friday 26th May Day Shift


Incident Time 0836 – Springhill, Tadcaster


A crew from Tadcaster assisted paramedics with transporting a patient into an ambulance after a fall at home. The lady then attended hospital for checks.


Incident Time 1026 – Conroy Close, Easingwold


Thirsk crew released a female in a residential home that had become trapped in a bathroom due to a faulty door. Hand tools were used.


Incident Time 1154 – A168 Asenby


A 2-vehicle road traffic collision was attended by Ripon and Boroughbridge crews. No persons were trapped, crews made scene safe only.


Incident Time 1201 – Marston Road, Tockwith


An Acomb crew attended a large amount of garden waste and trees on fire. Fire extinguished using 1 hose reel jet.


Incident Time 1210 – Newgate Bank, Rievaulx


Helmsley crew attended a road traffic collision when a car ran into a bank. All persons were out of the vehicle, crews assisted ambulance with first aid.


Incident Time 1220 – Deighton, York


York and Acomb appliances attended a road traffic collision which turned out to be a single motorcycle. No Fire Service actions required.


Incident Time 16:41 – Catterick Garrison


Richmond, Leyburn and Bedale attended this incident and extricated a person who was trapped in their vehicle due to a road traffic collision. 



In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended fire alarm calls in Scarborough and Harrogate.  All were false alarms.
