Bush fire – Hunmanby Industrial Estate

Time of call: 1327 hours

A crew from Filey has dealt with a bush on fire in the open. The cause was a carelessly discarded cigarette and the crew used 1 hosereel to extinguish.

 

Effect entry – Beaconsfield Street, Scarborough

Time of call: 1433 hours

A crew from Scarborough has been called to a residential property to gain entry after the elderly occupant fell behind the door. Crew used a crow bar to gain access via window and allow entry to paramedics and carers.

 

False alarm – Manham Hill, Eastfield

Time of call: 1439 hours

A crew from Scarborough has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

 

False alarm – Westwood, Scarborough

Time of call: 1506 hours

A crew from Scarborough has been called to reports of a fire in the garden of a residential property. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.
