False alarm – Junction Mills, Keighley

Time of call: 0746 hours

Crews from Skipton attended an automatic fire alarm activation at Junction Mills, Keighley. They found that it was a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.

False alarm – Moor Lane, Scarborough

Time of call: 0803 hours

Crews from Scarborough attended an automatic fire alarm activation at Moor Lane, Scarborough. They found that it was a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.

RTC – B6161 Pennypot Lane

Time of call: 1021 hours

Crews from Harrogate attended reports of a road traffic collision involving 2 vehicles with possible persons trapped. Crews arrived to find that there was one person trapped and used hydraulic cutting gear to free them. Casualty was transported to hospital via road ambulance.

Leaking Oil Tank - Ainderby Road, Romanby

Time of call: 1355 hours

Crews from Northallerton attended a small leak on an oil tank at the rear of a residential property in Romanby. They used soil to absorb the leakage and gave advice.

Fire - Gargrave Road, Skipton

Time of call: 1503 hours

Crews from Skipton were called to an automatic fire alarm activation and a strong smell of smoke at a public assembly building in Skipton. No source has been located but incident is remaining open for revisit tomorrow.

Fire in open – Water Lane, York

Time of call: 1608 hours

Crews from Huntington and Acomb were called to reports of thick black smoke coming from an area near the caravan site on Water Lane, York. They found that there was some burning in the open which was not considered controlled burning and was extinguished using 1 hose reel.

Fire – Woodlands Avenue, Tadcaster

Time of call: 1706 hours

Crews from Tadcaster were called to reports of a property fire on Woodlands Avenue in Tadcaster. Crews found that this was a kitchen fire and rescued 2 occupants who were treated by ambulance crews for smoke inhalation.
