Fire crew from Whitby responded to reports of a diesel fuel spillage on the road, however the spillage stretched over 3 miles and would require a road sweeper. Highways dealt with the incident

 

Portholme Road, Selby

Time of call 14:35

Fire crews from Selby attended reports of a smell of burning inside a commercial premises. There was no fire located.

 

Lancaster Park Road. Harrogate

Time of call 16:28

Harrogate and Knaresborough fire crews responded to reports of a smell of burning inside a public building. On arrival crew confirmed this was caused by an overheated motor.
