Incident Summary Day Shift Monday 7th May 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

During the shift we attended a number of automatic fire alarms that all turned out to be false alarms.

 

 

Road traffic collision – Holbeck Hill, Scarborough

Time of call: 10:16

An appliance from Scarborough attended this incident which was a 2 vehicle road traffic collision involving a camper van and a car.  All persons were out on arrival and were being treated by the ambulance service, fire crews make the scene safe and used small tools and hydraulic cutting equipment.

 

Fire in the open – Seamer Road, Scarborough

Time of call: 12:48

An appliance from Scarborough attended but were unable to locate this incident. 

 

Swainsea Lean, Pickering

Time of call: 15:30

Appliances from Pickering and Kirkbymoorside attended this incident and extinguished a fire in a domestic garage using 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.

 

Bin Fire – Sim Balk Lane, Bishopthorpe

Time of call: 16:24

An appliance from York attended this incident but the fire was out on arrival.
