False alarm – A61 Hutton Moor

Time of call: 0844 hours

A crew from Ripon has been called to reports of a caravan on fire. This was a false alarm due to controlled burning under supervision.

 

Flooding inside premises – Olympian Court, York

Time of call: 1044 hours

A crew from York were called to a report of water leaking through a light fitting from the flat above. Crews isolated water leak and made safe.

 

False alarm – Ramsay Close, York

Time of call: 1112 hours

A crew from York were called to an automatic fire alarm activation at a property on Ramsay Close, York. Due to lack of keyholder crews were unable to gain access to the premise but carried out a full perimeter search and found no sign of fire. Believed false alarm, cause unknown.

 

False alarm – Fairfax Court, York

Time of call: 1211 hours

A crew from York were called to an automatic fire alarm activation at a property on Fairfax Court, York. They found that this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 

Gas Leak – Collins Court, Knaresborough

Time of call: 1408 hours

Fire crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough were called to reports of a smell of gas at a property in Collins Court, Knaresborough. They found that this was a false alarm due to an elderly, confused resident.

 

Car Fire – Lumby Lane, South Milford

Time of call: 1431 hours

Fire crews from Selby attended reports of a car on fire. They found that there was a small fire to the wheel of a Rolls Royce which had been caused by a brake fault. It was extinguished using a garden hose.

 

Lift Rescue – Church Square, Harrogate

Time of call: 1608 hours

Fire crews were called to reports of 3 elderly residents stuck in a lift. Harrogate crew attended and released 3 persons.
