Incident Summary Day Shift Saturday 23rd June 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Hawes Time of call: 08:58

A crew from Hawes were called to help assist the mobility of an elderly person.

Scarborough Time of call: 10:45

A crew from Scarborough assisted with a person arriving at the station for the removal of a ring. The crew used a ring cutter to remove this.

Low Wath Road, Pateley Bridge Time of call: 12:45

A  crew from Harrogate were called to an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm.

Road between Husthwaite and Coxwold Time of call: 13:19

 Crews from Easingwold and Helmsley were called to a report of a 2 vehicle RTC with a person trapped and walking wounded. On our arrival, there were no longer any people trapped and our assistance was not required.

Melrose Street, Scarborough Time of call: 14:16

Crews from Scarborough and Filey were called to a fire in a derelict property. Crews extinguished this using a hose reel.

Clifton Street, Scarborough  Time of call: 15:48

We received a call from a resident of a property regarding an alarm sounding in a residential property. Our Scarborough crew arrived and did not see any signs of fire or an alarm sounding.

Bachelor Hill, York Time of call: 16:05

Crews from York and Acomb were called to bushes on fire in the open. The crews used a backpack sprayer and beaters to extinguish this.

Lilbourne Drive, York Time of call: 16:27

Crews were called to what was believed to be a shed fire. This was in fact a hedge fire which was out on Fire Brigade arrival. The crew used a hose reel jet to damp down the embers.

Bond End, Knaresborough Time of call: 16:27

A crew from Knaresborough were called to a fire to a lamp post in a car park. The fire was extinguished by the crew.

Bond End, Knaresborough Time of call: 16:49

Our Knaresborough crew were returning from the previous incident and were approached for assistance by the ambulance service to assist with moving a patient. They helped to move the patient and left them in the care of the ambulance service.
