False alarm – Swand Road, Harrogate

Time of call: 0741 hours

A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to

 

Road traffic collision – A59, High Skibeden

Time of call: 0849 hours

2 crews from Skipton have assisted Police at the scene of a road traffic collision involving a large goods vehicle and a motorcycle. Approximately 50 absorbant pads were used to contain a fueld leak. Incident left with Police.

 

False alarm – Greendale Court, Bedale

Time of call: 1145 hours

2 crews from Northalleton have responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to dust in detector head.

 

Swill away – A59, High Skibeden

Time of call: 1151 hours

A crew from Skipton has been called to wash down a stretch of road following an earlier road traffic collision. They have used 1 hosereel and left incident with Police.

 

Effect entry – Oxford Street, Scarborough

Time of call: 1231 hours

A crew from Scarborough has been called to gain entry to a property after the female resident locked herself out. A triple extension ladder was used to gain entry via an open first floor window. Police attended to confirm identity of female.

 

Road traffic collision – A166, Dunnington

Time of call: 1454 hours

Crews from York and Huntington have assisted at the scene of a road traffic collision involving a large goods vehicle and a car. No persons were trapped. 1 persons has been taken to hospital with minor injuries and 2 others received treatment on scene. Fire service assisted with scene safety only. No equipment used.

 

False alarm - Hurrs Road, Skipton

Time of call: 1652 hours

A crew from Skipton has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.
