False alarm – Clarence Drive, Harrogate

Time of call: 1221 hours

A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to accidental activation of the break glass point.

 

False alarm – Carron Crescent, York

Time of call: 1335 hours

A crew from Acomb has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to the system being triggered by workmen.

 

Assist Police – Mill Lane, Tadcaster

Time of call: 1511 hours

A crew from Tadcaster has been called to assist Police search a stretch of the River Wharfe after reports of an upturned car floating downstream. A full search of a 2 mile stretch of river was carried out but no vehicle located. Incident left with Police to search further using helicopter and a drone.

 

False alarm – Fairfax Avenue, Harrogate

Time of call: 1612 hours

2 crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough were mobilised to reports of a kitchen fire in a residential property. This was a malicious call and details have been passed to the Police.

 

Chimney fire – Lang Hill, Birdsall

Time of call: 1655 hours

A crew from Malton has dealt with a chimney fire in a residential property.
