Incident Summary Day Shift 16th June

15th June 2016

Fuel Leak -  Station Road, Hawsker, Whitby

Time of Call: 0859 hrs

Crews from  Scarborough attended approx 5 litres of fuel which had leaked onto the road.  Incident left with Highways Agency.

 AFA – East Layton, Richmond

Time of Call: 0922 hrs

 Crews from Richmond attended an automatic fire alarm which resulted in a false alarm due to smoke from controlled burning in the area.

 Small Fire in the open – South Parade, York

Time of Call:  1057 hrs

 Crews from York attended a small fire which was out on arrival. No action.

 AFA – Newborough Street, York

Time of Call:  1302 hrs

 Crews from York attended an automatic fire alarm which resulted in a false alarm due to insects in the detector head.

 Assist Ambulance Crew – Station Road, Whitby

Time of Call:  14:23 hrs

 Crew from Whitby attended an address on Station Road to assist Ambulance crews with a person who had fallen through a ceiling whilst working in a roof void.  When the crews arrived, the person had been released and was in the care of ambulance crews.  No action by Fire Service.

 RTC  Persons Trapped – Kirby Misperton

Time of Call:  15:28 hrs

 Crews from Malton and Pickering attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle.  Fire crews assisted with first aid,  Police and Air Ambulance also attended the incident.

 RTC Persons Trapped – Fulford Road, York

Time of Call:  16:12 hrs

 Crews from York and Acomb attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.  On arrival, no persons were trapped and fire service was not required.
