Tractor Fire – Pockley, Helmsley

Time of call: 09:22

Appliances from Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Pickering attended this incident and extinguished a tractor which was on fire using a hose reel jet.

 

Road traffic collision – A64, Stockton on the forest area

Time of call: 10:06

Appliances from Huntington, York and Tadcaster attended this incident and extricated 2 people who were trapped after the collision, crews worked with police and the ambulance service and used hydraulic cutting gear, stabilisation equipment, small tools and first aid equipment.

 

Grill pan fire – Northstead, Scarborough

Time of call: 10:07

An appliance from Scarborough attended and confirmed the fire was out on arrival, crews checked the property over and gave advice.

 

Smoke seen in the area – Penny Pot Lane, Harrogate

Time of call: 12:30

An appliance from Harrogate was mobilised to this area but after a thorough investigation no fire was located.

 

Dryer on fire – Sandybed Crescent, Scarborough

Time of call: 13:15

Appliances from Scarborough attended this incident and removed the dryer from the kitchen and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.

 

Heavy Goods Vehicle Trailer on fire – A1 Southbound near junction 50.

Time of call: 13:52

Appliances from Northallerton, Bedale and Ripon attended this incident and extinguished a large trailer which was on fire using 3 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.

 

Hedgerow fire – Firby Road, Bedale

Time of call: 14:06

An appliance from Northallerton attended this incident and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.

 

House fire – Leasmires Avenue, Easingwold

Time of call: 14:28

Appliances from York and Acomb attended this incident and extinguished a fire in the building and rescued 2 dogs and 2 cats from the property.  Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera and small tools to extinguish the fire which was located in the kitchen.

 

Assist Ambulance gain entry – Weaverthorpe, Malton

Time of call: 15:28

An appliance from Sherburn attended this incident and gained entry into a property for the ambulance service so they could treat the occupant who required some attention.
