Incident Summary Day Shift Wednesday 15th August 2018

15th August 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

We also attended a number of fire alarm activations during the shift which turned out to be a false alarms.

Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough.  Time of call: 07:54

Appliances from Scarborough and Filey attended this incident and extinguished a small fire inside an oven of a commercial premises, crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and small tools to extinguish the fire.

Picton, Yarm.  Time of call: 15:39

Appliances from Yarm and Stokesley attended this incident which was reported as a fire in a field but the fire was out on arrival. No action required by fire service.

Codbeck Reservoir, Osmotherley.  Time of call: 16:36

An appliance from Stokesley attended a small fire in the open, believed to be an unattended camp fire. The fire was extinguished the incident using wildfire backpack sprayers.
