Incident Summary Day Shift Wednesday 14th November

15th November 2017


Time 0904    Location: Easingwold

A crew from Easingwold and Huntington attended a report of a fridge freezer on fire in an outhouse attached to a semi-detached property. This fire extinguished using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. The cause is believe to have been an electrical falt.

Time 1027    Location: Eastfield, Scarborough

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of a male who’d fallen from scaffolding onto a roof below. Crews assisted paramedics with transporting the casualty from the roof using manpower and the aerial ladder platform. The casualty was left in the hands of the paramedics and was transported to Hull hospital via road ambulance with suspected back and left arm injuries.

Time 1629     Location: Huntington

A crew from Huntington attended a report of a tumble dryer on fire in the kitchen of a property. The fire was extinguished and the appliance was removed from the house.

In addition to the above incidents our crews attended automatic fire alarm activations in Richmond and Selby.  All were false alarms.
